#3 Foundwell 101: The 3 things to know before you officially start your business
The day has finally come!!
Brace yourselves guys because this episode is PACKED with a ton of info to get you started on figuring out 3 of the main things you need to know before you officially start your business:
1) COST (what tools do you need, what do you need to set them up, and how much will they cost)
2) HOW YOU’LL MAKE MONEY (products, services, and a few other ideas you might have not thought about yet!)
3) NAMING YOUR BUSINESS (how to brainstorm a good name, whether you should name your business after yourself, and a check list to make sure your name isn’t already in use!)
I go pretty fast through the things I wish I knew when I was starting but I created a rough outline of this episode in the FREE workbook I created for this episode!
I originally thought I wanted to turn this info into a digital course (a lot like how Foundwell will look!) BUT I figured delivering on the podcast and just sending you the workbook would save time and streamline the whole process.
Get the Free Workbook by clicking below!
Here are a few things I want you to remember as you go through the workbook:
SIMPLIFY- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! Why make things harder than they need to be?
Be consistent- this creates good habits for you, strengthens your message, and strengthens your customer’s trust in you
Be clear- confused people click away, opt-out, and do not buy!
P.S. I’m not sponsored by ANY of the products or tools I’m about to mention- no one is paying me to say this- I mean hopefully some day we’ll have some sponsors haha but I’m telling you about them because I use them and I’ve tried A LOT of different options. Not everything will be right for everyone, but at least you’ll know what I’m using and have somewhere to start.
Thanks for tuning in guys! Meet me back here next Wednesday for another episode all about what your first steps should be before you even think about legal, finance, or building a website.
P.S. The podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher and Google Play. Subscribe wherever you normally listen to podcasts and if you leave a review on iTunes I might even give you a shout out on a future episode!
